Our Smart Cooking Programmes are postponed until further notice. We will reschedule new dates for these programmes once restrictions have been lifted.

As an essential food service, our Lang Toun Larder community pantry will continue to operate, with some adaptations to ensure everyone keeps safe. We are contacting pantry members directly to update them on the changes we are making.
We are currently unable to run our Community Meals Takeaway. We hope to have meals available again as soon as restrictions allow.
The Community Fridge will also close. We hope to be able to open the fridge again as soo as restrictions allow.

Our Cosy Kingdom Energy Advice Service will continue as a telephone service. We can help people stay warm and manage their energy bills during this difficult period. Call our energy advisors on 01592 807930.

Thermostatic radiator valves or TRVs for short, are probably our favourite and most under-appreciated heating control. It’s a common mistake to assume they control the temperature of the radiator (this job belongs to the boiler thermostat we’ll get onto shortly).
Your programmer tells your heating when it is allowed to come on. They come in a variety of sizes, shapes and designs and unfortunately some are much harder to use than others.
