Suzy Goodsir, Chief Executive
Suzy was one of the founding volunteers of Greener Kirkcaldy in 2009. As Chief Executive her role is to lead the organisation, develop projects and ideas, and find the resources needed to put them into practice.
She is a keen cyclist and loves Kirkcaldy’s parks, beaches and woodlands.

Dianne Girvan, Office Manager
Dianne initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy as an Administrator in 2013 and is now the Office Manager. She is responsible for managing Greener Kirkcaldy’s finances, HR and facilities.
Dianne once won first prize in a Shakin’ Stevens dance competition!

Pat Phillip, Admin Assistant
Pat joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2015 and works with the Cosy Kingdom Energy Advice Team. She is the first point of contact for people phoning up and enjoys offering help and advice.
Pat learned to SCUBA dive at the age of 50 and has now completed over 150 dives in both the UK and abroad.

Lisa Barrie, Admin Assistant
Lisa joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2020 as an administrator. She is part of our Welcome Area team, welcoming people into our building, and supports the Cosy Kingdom Energy Advice Team.

Bike Social Enterprise Team
David Glover, Cycle Workshop and Retail Coordinator
David joined us in 2020 and leads our community cycle shop project – Lang Toun Cycles. David carries out cycle repairs and services, refurbishes donated bikes, leads our bike borrowing scheme and runs Dr Bike events and bike maintenance workshops.
David won the Strathpuffer 24hr Winter Mountainbike Race in 2015 as part of the Mukyriderz / Leslie Bike Shop team of 4.

Stewart Murray, Cycle Mechanic
Stewart joined us in 2020 supporting our community cycle project – Lang Toun Cycles. Stewart carries out cycle repairs and services, refurbishes donated bikes, supports our bike borrowing scheme, Dr Bike events and bike maintenance workshops.
Stewart spent 5 years mountain biking and snowboarding in the Alps.

Community Food Team
Geraldine O’Riordan, Project Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator
Ger initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2014 as a Board member. She is now Project Coordinator, leading on all of our food events and activities. She is also the Volunteer Coordinator.

Jackie Arreaza, Development Worker
Jackie joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2017. She organises our Smart Cooking and Food Works training, coordinates our Community Fridge, runs some cooking workshops and helps with community meals.
Jackie lived in Central America for 16 years and speaks fluent Spanish.

Ian joined us in 2020 as our Community Chef. He leads our exciting programme of cooking courses and workshops, and our weekly Community Meals.

Communications and Engagement Team
Lauren Brook, Communications + Engagement Team Manager
Lauren started as a Media Volunteer and became a Development Worker in 2015. She is now Project Coordinator, responsible for all communications and marketing, community events and our awareness, engagement and behaviour change projects around climate change, waste, and transport.
Lauren hitchhiked from England to Morocco to raise money for charity.

Craig Leitch, Development Worker
Craig joined us in 2019, and leads on our climate change and waste programmes, organising and delivering events and activities with our community.
Craig loves nature, the outdoors and is happiest when visiting the Scottish islands. He spent 6 months living on the beautiful Isle of Colonsay.

Susan Jeynes, Active Travel Development Worker
Susan joined us in 2019, and leads our cycling and walking behaviour change activities. She also looks after our growing team of Active Travel Volunteers.

Steven started with Greener Kirkcaldy as a Media Volunteer in 2015. He joined our staff in 2020, supporting all of our marketing and communications activities.

Cosy Kingdom Energy Advice Team
Bruce McCall, Project Manager
Bruce joined us in 2015 as our Energy Team Leader and is now Project Manager for the Cosy Kingdom team. He engages with other organisations and partners to deliver the service throughout Fife.
Bruce achieved a lifetime ambition of representing Scotland at lawn bowls in 2006, after being part of a Scottish title winning team for Methil Bowling Club in 2005.

Darren Campbell, Senior Energy Advisor
Darren started as a volunteer Energy Adviser in 2012 and became employed as a Development Worker in 2013. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience which he uses to assist our participants throughout Fife.
Darren has spent time watching penguins in South Georgia, South Atlantic.

Kitty O’Connor, Senior Energy Advisor
Kitty initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy as a Board Member and joined the team in 2014. Kitty co-ordinates our energy events and energy volunteers, and leads the Welcome Area in our building.
Kitty enjoys visiting gardens for inspiration in her own and friends’ gardens.

Michael Hildrew, Energy Advisor
Michael joined us in May 2016 and is also responsible for Social Media for the Cosy Kingdom team. Michael generally covers the Kirkcaldy, Lochgelly and Burntisland area.
Michael has a young family and spends all his spare time with them.

Barry Cunningham, Energy Advisor
Barry joined us in 2016. Although he can travel anywhere in Fife to visit participants, he predominantly delivers visits, talks and events in the Leven, Methil and Buckhaven areas.
Barry loves music and sport and recently met Ricky Hatton and Eric Bristow.

Julian Ridal, Energy Advisor
Julian joined us in 2016 and mostly delivers home visits, talks and events in Dunfermline and West Fife.
Julian has climbed all the significant Scottish Mountains and walked the length of the Scottish Mainland.

Rosie Brown, Energy Advisor
Rosie joined us as an Energy Advisor in 2020. She carries out home visits and delivers talks and events across Fife.

Gary Wallace, Handyman
Gary joined us in October 2017 and installs energy saving measures to homes across Fife.
Gary has lots of experience in joinery and landscaping and garden maintenance. Over the years, he has had several mishaps and once fell through 5 rooves with nothing broken but his pride!

Outdoor Projects Team
Carol Sidey, Project Manager
Carol initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy as a sessional community gardener. She now coordinates our gardening projects at Ravenscraig Walled garden, and also our Kids Clubs and outdoor play project.
Carol is interested in organic growing, pollinators and biodiversity and her garden is home to over 50,000 animals (honeybees!).

Ross Cunningham, Community Garden Coordinator
Ross initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy as a volunteer at Ravenscraig Walled Garden. He is now our Community Garden Coordinator leading volunteer sessions and events.
Ross likes to cook, ride his motorbike and drink red wine… although not all at the same time!
