Lauren Brook
Chief Executive
Lauren started as a Media Volunteer in 2013 and became Chief Executive in 2023. Her role is to lead the organisation, develop projects and ideas, and find the resources needed to put them into practice.
Lauren hitchhiked from England to Morocco to raise money for charity.
Dianne Girvan
Office Manager
Dianne initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy as an Administrator in 2013 and is now the Office Manager. She is responsible for managing Greener Kirkcaldy’s finances, HR and facilities.
Dianne once won first prize in a Shakin’ Stevens dance competition!
Rebecca Petford
Programme Manager (Maternity Leave)
Rebecca supports our project managers and coordinators to deliver the key objectives of our various projects. She also leads on quality management and impact evaluation.
Bruce McCall
Service Delivery Manager
Bruce joined us in 2015 and is now Service Delivery Manager for the Cosy Kingdom team. He engages with partners to deliver the service throughout Fife.
Bruce achieved a lifetime ambition of representing Scotland at lawn bowls in 2006.
Kitty O’Connor
Development Manager
Kitty initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy as a Board Member and joined the team in 2014. She now leads the Development and Communications team and is responsible for fundraising.
Kitty enjoys visiting gardens for inspiration in her own and friends’ gardens.

Chantelle joined us in 2024. She is the first point of contact, welcoming and engaging participants to our community building.

Rory Syme
Communications Lead
Rory joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2022. He leads on the delivery of Greener Kirkcaldy’s marketing, communications, campaigns and events programme.
Rory enjoys growing and gardening. He is very gradually bringing a long-abandoned allotment in Templehall to life.
Andrea Harrower
Communications and Events Coordinator
Andrea started as a Media Volunteer in 2014. She joined our staff in 2021, coordinating our events schedule and marketing and communications activities.
Andrea is a volunteer presenter at local community radio station K107fm.

Michael Hildrew
Energy Advice Team Leader
Michael joined us as an Energy Advisor in May 2016. He now leads our energy advice team and is also responsible for social media for the Cosy Kingdom team.
Michael has a young family and spends all his spare time with them.
Darren Campbell
Senior Energy Advisor
Darren started as a volunteer Energy Adviser in 2012. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience which he uses to assist our participants throughout Fife.
Darren has spent time watching penguins in South Georgia, South Atlantic.
Kirsty Wilson
Admin Assistant
Kirsty joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2024. She is the first point of contact for people phoning up and enjoys offering help and advice.
Kyly Dickson
Admin Assistant
Kyly initially worked with us from 2017 to 2019. She returned to Greener Kirkcaldy in 2021 and works alongside the Cosy Kingdom Energy Advice Team.
Kyly is at her happiest exploring Scotland’s countryside with her two dogs!

Brenda joined us in 2022 and works as an Admin Assistant for the Cosy Kingdom Energy Advice Team.
Barry Cunningham
Energy Advisor
Barry joined us in 2016. Although he works across Fife, he predominantly delivers visits, talks and events in the Leven, Methil and Buckhaven areas.
Barry loves music and sport and recently met Ricky Hatton and Eric Bristow.

Julian joined us in 2016 and mostly delivers home visits, talks and events in Dunfermline and West Fife.
Julian has climbed all the significant Scottish mountains and walked the length of the Scottish mainland.

Robert joined us in September 2023. He provides training to frontline workers, coordinates and delivers events, talks and workshops and leads a team of volunteer Energy Champions.

Gary joined us in October 2017 and installs energy saving measures to homes across Fife as part of Cosy Kingdom’s Handy Service.
Over the years, Gary has had several mishaps. Once he fell through five roofs with nothing broken but his pride!

Ea O’Neill
Community Engagement Team Manager
Ea joined us in 2021, leading on community events and our behaviour change projects around climate change and transport. She also manages the Climate Action Fife partnership.
Ea is a West-Fifer and loves spending time in Devilla Forest.

Michelle originally joined us as an Energy Advisor in 2022. She is now our Community Engagement Development Worker, responsible for developing and facilitating events and activities across Fife. She is also a Climate Reality Leader.
Louise Oliver
Business Outreach Coordinator
Louise joined us in 2022. She supports small businesses, community buildings and third-sector organisations transition towards renewable energy generation, energy efficiency and waste reduction.
Caroline Morrison
Volunteer Coordinator
Caroline coordinates the delivery and development of our volunteer strategy. Along with our volunteer leads, she helps deliver an interesting and inclusive volunteer programme.
Caroline loves skiing, cycling and instructing yoga.

Ger initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2014 as a Board member. She is now Community Food Team Manager, leading on all of our food events and activities.
Jackie Arreaza

Jackie joined Greener Kirkcaldy in 2017. She organises our Smart Cooking, Food Works and REHIS training, coordinates our Lang Toun Larder, runs some cooking workshops and helps with Community Meals and the Community Fridge.
Jackie lived in Central America for 16 years and speaks fluent Spanish.

Originally joining as a volunteer in 2022, Tony is now a Development Worker. He helps coordinate and deliver the Community Food Team’s projects, workshops and events.

David won the Strathpuffer 24hr Winter Mountainbike Race in 2015 as part of the Mukyriderz / Leslie Bike Shop team of 4.

Michael initially joined Greener Kirkcaldy as a volunteer. He now coordinates the day-to-day operations of Lang Toun Cycles’ workshop and shopfront.

Kevin is a Cycle Mechanic at Lang Toun Cycles. He specialises in repairing, servicing, and upcycling bikes.
