Going Greener Together

Community

Everything we do is led by our community. We run lots of events and activities to bring people together, ranging from open days to kids clubs and film nights, to Apple Days in our orchard.

We can also give talks, and run activities and workshops with local groups, and work with lots of local partners, organisations and community groups. We are always keen to hear from people who want to work with us – contact us on info@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk for more information.

We are a community-led organisation and regularly hold events and consultations to see what activities you would like us to do. We love to hear your ideas, feedback and suggestions – if you have any thoughts, please fill out our feedback form.

Kirkcaldy Cycling Festival

A week-long programme of events bringing the community together, celebrating cycling and getting people out on their bikes.

East Fergus Parklet

We are transforming a small area of disused land on East Fergus Place beside our community building to create the East Fergus Parklet.

Equality Pathfinder programme

Greener Kirkcaldy is part of Equalities Pathfinder programme - a non-competitive local recognition scheme run by Fife Centre for Equalities (FCE).

Our community building is open 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays and 12pm -4.30pm on Wednesdays.

Town Centre Regeneration

We are working closely with the new town centre regeneration group, Love Oor Lang Toun, on a number of projects, ensuring that both community interest and environmental sustainability are high on their agenda.
Climate Action Fife

Climate Action Fife

Climate Action Fife is a partnership project of 12 community and public sector organisations in Fife. Led by Greener Kirkcaldy, the 5-year project is funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund.

Community Meals: Come and eat a sit-down meal with us and pay what you feel. Every Wednesday at East Fergus Place. Booking required.

Holiday Kids Clubs

Our school holiday kids clubs include cooking clubs in our Lang Spoon Community Kitchen.

Recycle old IT equipment, batteries and ink cartridges

Do you have old laptops, phones or tablets that you would like to recycle? We’re collecting items for the Edinburgh Remakery.
