Further to the Government’s recent update on COVID-19, we have taken the decision to postpone all of our events from now until the 31st May. Full refunds will be given.
We are reviewing the situation daily and will give regular updates on future events, including new dates for postponed events.
This workshop will be led by Iain Mclellan, Greener Kirkcaldy’s Community Chef and is part of a new programme to help bring success to your home cooking. If you know how, fish and seafood are easy to prepare. Let us show you the basic skills e.g. filleting fish, and we’ll also demonstrate different methods of cooking seafood. Iain will be talking about what fish is available on our seashores across the different seasons too.
Participants will choose a classic seafood dish to cook and experience a tasting session of different seafood. You’ll be able to take home what you cook so please bring some containers to take your food away. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you are booking. This workshop is suitable for beginners. All ingredients, equipment and recipes are supplied.
There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
