Transport ProjectPosted on 6th August 2018 by Lauren Parry
This project is funded for 2018 – 2020 by the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) who awarded us £159,352 to run carbon emission reducing transport activities in our community.
The CCF is a Scottish Government grant programme, managed and administered by Keep Scotland Beautiful. The CCF provides funding and support for community groups to help tackle climate change by running projects that reduce local carbon emissions.
We hold a range of events to help you increase your skills and confidence to change the way you travel including:
- Fuel efficient driver training
- Information events and test-drives of electric and hybrid vehicles
- Cycle training and led rides
- Bike maintenance workshops
- Group walks and a Kirkcaldy Walking Festival
- Climate Change walks and events
Upcoming events can be found on our Events Page.
