Cycling Activities
We run cycling activities to help you learn skills and gain confidence to get active and drive less. Activities include:
- Cycle with Confidence sessions, to give you the skills and confidence to cycle on quiet roads
- Family Cycle Skills sessions – personalised sessions arranged in your area to learn how to cycle safely on quiet roads with your children
- Sunday Socials – leisurely rides in and around Kirkcaldy every Sunday.
- Couch to Confidence – weekly rides to help you become more fit and confident on a bike. These are ideal for people who haven’t been on their bike for a while.
Our community bike shop, Lang Toun Cycles, can lend you a bike if you don’t have one.
We also lead on the annual Kirkcaldy Cycling Festival, bringing together groups and organisations from around Kirkcaldy to run a variety of activities, encouraging people to walk and cycle in their local community, get active and bring people together to enjoy different aspects of Kirkcaldy and Dysart.
Find out more about upcoming activities on our Events page.
We can also run tailored activities for groups. Please contact cycling@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk for more information.
