Breadmaking for beginners
Imagine taking your own freshly baked bread out of the oven – the smell, the taste, and the satisfaction of having made it yourself.
On our fun and informative breadmaking course, you will learn a basic recipe to bake loaves at home and how you can adapt it to create a variety of different breads.
We will look at the ingredients and techniques – and how you can incorporate breadmaking into your daily life.
We will bake a wholemeal loaf from scratch, along with a choice of a crusty plaited loaf or focaccia. There will be time to discuss, taste and compare notes.
You will leave inspired and ready to switch from shop bought to homemade bread.
Please bring a bag or wrap to take home your fresh bread.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Please let us know of any dietary requirements you have when booking. The food we are making in this workshop contains gluten. Unfortunately, we can not offer any gluten-free alternatives.
