Our active travel projects aim to inspire and support people to reduce car use for short journeys. We run a range of activities and events to help people increase their skills and confidence to change the way they travel. This includes cycle training and led rides, led walks, bike repairs and maintenance workshops, bike borrowing and sales.

Kirkcaldy Active Travel Hub (including Lang Toun Cycles)
The Hub hosts projects and programmes that tackle the climate emergency and help people feel healthier and happier.
Kirkcaldy Cycle Shed
Come along to Kirkcaldy Cycle Shed to work your own bike, help us out with processing donations and bikes recovered from recycling centres and plenty of other workshop-based tasks.
Fife Easy E-Bikes
Fife Easy E-Bikes offers all the enjoyment and benefits of a new e-bike, without the large upfront costs or ongoing worries of ownership.
Fife Community Cycling Action Plan
This plan proposes ten actions to get more people commuting by bike in Fife.
Climate Action Fife
Climate Action Fife is a partnership project of 12 community and public sector organisations in Fife. Led by Greener Kirkcaldy, the 5-year project is funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund.
