One donation, twice the impact – Help us raise £5,000 through Earth Raise 2026

The climate emergency is a major social justice issue and one of the biggest challenges facing our community. People in Kirkcaldy are already feeling the impact and many lack the knowledge, skills or opportunities to take action.

Areas with high levels of poverty and limited local support are likely to be hit hardest. Without accessible, local support, people can feel excluded or powerless, limiting our ability to come together and create a fairer, healthier future for our community.

Greener Kirkcaldy delivers community-led climate action that brings people together and shows that everyone can make a difference. Through tailored energy advice, teaching people to grow fresh fruit and vegetables, encouraging active and providing practical volunteering opportunities, we are encouraging small steps that grow to a make a big difference.

We create inclusive opportunities to learn practical skills, build confidence and take action through workshops, events and volunteering. Last year, 16,805 people took part in our activities and events and our work saved 78,989 tonnes of carbon dioxide. By learning together and acting locally, our community can cut carbon, improve wellbeing and create a lasting positive change in Kirkcaldy.
