We are governed by a dedicated group of  12 volunteer trustees who provide leadership and guidance. Among this amazing team, two long-serving members stand out for their extraordinary dedication: Ian Stirton and Pat Crosbie. Collectively they have given almost 2,000 hours to Greener Kirkcaldy.

At Greener Kirkcaldy, over 120 dedicated volunteers give their time, energy and passion to support our work. Each volunteer brings something unique to our projects. Three of our amazing volunteers are shortlisted in Fife Voluntary Action’s Volunteering and Voluntary Sector Awards 2025. This blog shares their stories.

Greener Kirkcaldy has appointed Matthew Lawson as Chair of our board of trustees.

Greener Kirkcaldy volunteer Gordon Nisbet was named Inspirational Volunteer of the Year in this year’s Fife Voluntary Action Volunteering Awards. He shared his story with our Media Volunteer Anne Fraser.

Our community food volunteers want to learn from other local organisations who work with food. To help with this, our Senior Development Works Jackie Arreaza organised an exchange visit to EATS Rosyth.
