Switch & Bitch evening – Wed 8th September

Clothes swapping is the new hot craze sweeping the nation. In association with Chickenshop, we are supporting a Switch & Bitch event on Wednesday 8th September at Dean Park Hotel, to help raise funds for Fife Gingerbread Linton Lane Playgroup and Kirkcaldy Town 94’s Football Team.

Get your last minute tickets at the Greener Kirkcaldy Centre then come along and have a great ‘Girl’s Night Out’. You’ll
be doing your bit for the environment, remixing your wardrobe, and perhaps you’ll even find that perfect must have item you’ve been searching for!

Free Dr Bike health checks

Dr Bike is in town Sat 11th September, 11am-1pm

The mobile mechanic is coming to the Greener Kirkcaldy Centre at 222 High St, to run a free drop-in service for all bikes cycled in on the day.

After a summer of cycling, it may be time to give your bike a check up and Dr. Bike is here to help. Treat your bike to a free health check with Dr. Bike who will carry out minor maintenance where needed and show you how to look after your bike at home with some helpful hints and tips.

Come along to Greener Kirkcaldy, 222 High Street on Saturday 11th September between 11am and 1pm where you can leave your bike to be fixed or stay and see how to address the problem. The service is completely free, so take some time to make your cycling safer and smoother with the help of a professional.

Winter Warmth DIY drop-in workshop

Saturday 23rd October, 10am-1pm at the Greener Kirkcaldy centre

Discover some simple low-cost measures you can take to keep your house cosy this winter – draught-proofing, DIY secondary glazing, radiator reflector panels and more!

This will be a fun and practical workshop! There’s no need to book – just come along on the day at any time between 10am and 1pm.
