Lang Toun Cycles Community Bike Shop Opening Tuesday 3rd November
We are excited to announce that on Tuesday 3rd November our new Lang Toun Cycles Community Bike Shop will open on Kirkcaldy High Street!
Located at 245 High Street (opposite the Indoor Market), Lang Toun Cycles will offer cycle servicing and repairs, sales of refurbished bikes and accessories, a bike and electric-bike loan scheme, bike maintenance workshops, and free ‘Dr Bike’ events, where anyone can get a safety check and simple repairs carried out on their bike.
Lang Toun Cycles is a social enterprise, with all profits invested in getting more people in Kirkcaldy cycling. Whether you’re new to the world of cycling, an experienced cyclist, or just an everyday person who cycles, we’ll do everything we can to get, and keep, you cycling smoothly and happy.
The shop will be open Tuesday – Saturday, 9am – 5.30pm. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced bike, you have a bike in need of repairs or a service, you want to try out a bike before you buy one, or you just want to chat about cycling, come and see us and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Donate your old bike
Do you have a bike you don’t want, ride or use any more? Donate it to Lang Toun Cycles to be refurbished and re-sold in store. We take donated bikes and fix them up to save them from landfill, whilst also providing affordable second-hand bikes to make cycling more accessible to everyone. We accept bikes of all shapes, sizes and conditions, from kids balance bikes up to large adult bikes, trikes and tandems. At the moment we’re particularly looking for kids bikes ready for Christmas, but we’ll happily accept any donation.
If you would like to donate a bike, get in touch by calling 01592 328920 or emailing david@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk.
