Make your move Kirkcaldy – project launch

The Make your move Kirkcaldy project’s public launch event was held on Saturday May 21st from 10am to 4pm in Kirkcaldy Town Square. A fun day for all ages which included a chance for people to try out different kinds of bikes and watch an exciting stunt display by The Clan at 11am 1pm and 3pm. Bikeworks demonstrated bike maintenance and displayed a selection of their low cost refurbished bikes. Middleton Mountain Bike Club encouraged people to develop new skills. Greener Kirkcaldy had a stall.
The project – a partnership project between Fife Council and sustainable transport charity Sustrans – aims to increase levels of walking and cycling in Kirkcaldy, and is behind the improved walking and cycling routes on Oriel Road and Dunnikier Way.
