Invitation to Quote: Healthy Homes Project External Evaluation
Greener Kirkcaldy is seeking a fixed price offer to carry out an external evaluation of our Healthy Homes in Fife project.
Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity and development trust working on a local scale to benefit people and our environment. We would like to see a future where everyone is able to heat their home affordably, eat well, and tread more lightly on our planet. We work towards that by delivering projects and services to meet the needs and aspirations of local people: tackling fuel and food poverty, protecting and enjoying the environment, and bringing the community together.
Our Cosy Kingdom energy advice service helps households across Fife to save money and energy. Our team of energy advisors make home energy advice visits and carry out community outreach work to reach people in, or at risk of, fuel poverty.
We are currently delivering the Healthy Homes in Fife project, with funding from Fife Council, to explore ways of working with Fife health and social care staff to engage and help people vulnerable to the impacts of fuel poverty. It is a 1-year pilot project, focusing on older people, those leaving hospital, and people with a long-term illness or disability, testing out different points of intervention. It aims to deliver energy advice to 100 households and to identify learning in order to provide evidence for potential mainstreaming or to inform funding applications in the future.
We wish to appoint a consultant to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the Healthy Homes in Fife project. Details are given in the invitation to quote document:
