We’ve teamed up with Fife College Students Association to hold a number of FREE events across Fife College Campuses as part of their ‘Green Week’. Dr Bike Fix-it Drop-in Events
Halbeath Campus – Monday 25th April, 10am – 1pm, Cycle Hub
St Brycedale Campus – Wednesday 27th April, 10am – 1pm, Atrium (or outside Main Entrance)
Stenton Campus – Thursday 28th April, 10am – 1pm, outside FCSA office .
Free 15 minute bike health check with Dave’s Bike Shed, including air, tyres, brakes and any basic repairs or replacements. Dr Bike will also be on hand to answer questions and give you useful advice and tips on how to care for your bike. This should make you, and your bike, happier and keep you on the road for longer!
No need to book. All you have to do is remember to bring your bike along. Sessions will last around 15 minutes each and will be on a first come first served basis.

Stenton Campus – Thursday 28th April, 2pm – 4pm, outside Main Entrance
Learn the skills to fix your bike yourself. Dr Bike will teach you about the main parts and components on a bike, how to undertake an “M Check” and check your bike is safe, and how to undertake basic repairs and adjustments. The workshop will be hands on – remember to bring your bike along so that you can learn how to do all of this on your own bike!

Would you like to learn basic sewing skills so that you can sew, repair and upcycle your clothes yourself? Find out why reducing textiles and clothes waste is good for the planet, and how to repair/upcycle clothes or make something new from old fabrics. Our sewing expert will teach basic stitches and help you make something.
It’s free to attend and there’s no need to book. Just drop by any time between 12pm and 2pm. There’s no need to bring anything, we’ll have everything you need to get sewing!
