Film Night – The Power of Community
Tuesday 26th February 7pm – 9pm, Greener Kirkcaldy Advice Centre
The bi-monthly film night returns in February with ‘The Power of Community – How Cuba Survived Peak Oil’, an inspiring and informative look at how Cuba rebuilt its quality of life following the collapse of cheap oil from the former Soviet Union. This fascinating film shows how communities pulled together, created solutions, and thrived in spite of their decreased dependence on imported energy.
Pop-corn will be provided and after the film (53 mins) there will be time for a discussion. Feel free to bring refreshments.
This event is free, but places are limited – please contact us if you intend to attend – just call 01592 858459, email info[at]www.greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk or pop into the Advice Centre.
