Saturday social bike rides

Join us for our drop-in Saturday Social Cycles!

There is no need to book, just sign in at Lang Toun Cycles on the day. 

In our monthly leisurely rides, we will explore Kirkcaldy and the surrounding area with a focus on coffee, cake and chat…  

These are social group rides and aimed at being fun and friendly.

There will be a strong emphasis on riding together, while being self-sufficient and responsible for yourself. One of our ride leaders will aim to be on each ride to offer support if needed. 

If the weather on the day is poor, we can all get together for a chat at a local cafe.

Please bring all you need to ride independently, at the minimum an inner tube suitable for your bike. 

Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.

Additional Information

Most of the routes will be Traffic free, shared paths and quiet roads with a few bits of gentle off-road. 

Distance / Length –  2hrs

Hills – Mixed

Surfaces – A mix of off-road and tarmacked surfaces.  Not recommended for young children or bikes with skinnier tyres.

Route – Confirmed on the day Routes will be decided on the day to suit the group of riders.

These rides are for ages 14 +

Riders under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
