Kirkcaldy Re-imagined (Part of Kirkcaldy Car-Free Week)
Tuesday 2nd March : 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us to learn about how public space can be used when places are redesigned to prioritise people over cars.
We will hear from Lucy Colbeck at ‘Playing Out’ about how street space can be used to enable people to play and socialise on their own streets, as well as watching a selection of short films about how different cities around the world have re-designed their neighbourhoods and city centres to reclaim space for people.
These will include our brand new video about Kirkcaldy – looking at examples of locations where road space has been turned into playparks and green spaces, and talking to local residents about what else they would like to see done.
This event will include a discussion about the talk, the films and your views on what could be done in Kirkcaldy.
This event is part of Kirkcaldy Car-Free Week.
The event is free but booking is required.
This event will take place on Zoom. A meeting link will be sent out the day before the webinar.
If you are having trouble booking you can call 01592 858458 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
