Cook and Eat India
Indian cuisine has such a huge variety of different dishes and flavours it’s difficult to choose only a couple but we guarantee you won’t be disappointed with chef, Jenny Thomson’s (of Courses for Cooks) choice!
We’ll be making the following dishes:
– Vegetable Samosas with Spinach Raita (vegetarian, can be vegan)
– Roti OR Fragrant Rice (vegetarian, can be vegan)
– Burnese Chicken Curry – Chicken thighs cooked in a fragrant sauce of garlic, ginger, onions and chillies, finished with cardamom and coriander
OR
– Vegetable Makahanawala – Seasonal vegetables cooked with spices and tomatoes (vegetarian, can be made vegan)
This workshop is suitable for casual home cooks who are interested in exploring world cuisines and trying new recipes. The workshop will be led by an experienced chef. There will be plenty of time to discuss, eat and compare notes too.
Please bring some containers to take home your food. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when you are booking.
There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
