Autumn gin infusions and fruit vinegars
This workshop is an introduction to making fruit and herb vinegars, and infusing gin – using ingredients from our gardens or foraged locally.
In our fun and informative workshop, you’ll learn some basic recipes that you can then adapt at home to create a variety of options. We’ll use our outdoor cooking stations at Ravenscraig Walled Garden.
We’ll look at the ingredients and how to identify them. We’ll pick seasonal fruit and herbs at the gardens and discuss how to use them, and we’ll share ideas about ingredients you can use to create your own infusions.
The course is hands-on – we’ll make the fruit vinegar and start the gin infusion for you to continue with at home. There will be time to discuss, taste and compare notes.
You’ll leave inspired and ready to experiment.
