Beveridge Park bat walk
There are around 5,000 species of mammals in the world… and almost 1,000 of these are just bats!
Join us for an evening walk, discovering the bats that live around Beveridge Park and learning more about these fascinating creatures. A ‘bat detector’ device will enable us to listen in on their world. Led by Tony Wilson, a local naturalist.
The 2-mile (max) walk will take around 2 hours, and be on mainly flat surfaces: tarmac, pavement and path. Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied).
Why not join us for our regular Community Meal at our community building before the walk?
Part of our Bike, Walk, Move programme.
