Cider Making Workshop (Fully Booked)
Saturday 29th September, 1pm – 4pm
This introductory course is for people with an interest in making real cider at home and those looking for a creative way to use their apples.
Experienced cider maker Geoff Robotham will guide you through the traditional process of making cider. He’ll share his expertise and techniques with you and there will be hands on washing, scratting and pressing of apples.
We will provide the equipment and a bottle to take away your home made cider to ferment and enjoy at home.
Bring along your own apples if you can but we will have plenty available.
Please wear suitable gardening clothing and be prepared to be outside in all weathers! No experience necessary.
The workshop will take place at our Community Training Garden in Ravenscraig Walled Garden. There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
