The Mediterranean has a vast tapestry of flavours, stretching from the sun‑drenched coasts of Spain to the spice‑laden markets of the Middle East. Its cooking is vibrant, generous, and rooted in fresh produce, bold herbs, and dishes designed for sharing.

Join us for a relaxed, hands‑on workshop where we’ll prepare a colourful spread of Mediterranean classics. You’ll chop, stir, season, and taste your way through a selection of dishes that celebrate the region’s sociable approach to eating — small plates, big flavours, and plenty of conversation. Once everything is ready, we’ll sit down together to enjoy the feast and chat about how Mediterranean cultures bring people together around food.

What we’ll cook

  • Baba ghanoush – smoky roasted aubergine blended with garlic, tahini, and lemon.
  • Harissa roasted squash with yogurt and dukkah – sweet, savoury, and warmly spiced with crunchy nuts and seeds.
  • Muhammara – a rich, tangy dip of roasted peppers, walnuts, and pomegranate molasses.
  • Greek salad – crisp vegetables, olives, and feta with a bright oregano dressing.
  • Smoky butter bean stew – tender beans simmered with paprika, garlic, and tomatoes.
  • Spanakopita – flaky filo pastry filled with spinach, herbs, and feta.
  • Patatas bravas – crispy potatoes with a punchy tomato‑paprika sauce.
  • Tzatziki – cooling yogurt with cucumber, garlic, and dill.
  • Orange and olive oil cake – fragrant, moist, and perfect with a drizzle of honey.
  • Turkish apple cake – soft, spiced, and ideal for autumn.

All dishes are suitable for vegetarians.

Our workshops are friendly and informal, with plenty of guidance from your tutor as you prepare each recipe. You’ll leave with new skills, fresh ideas, and a delicious appreciation of Mediterranean flavours from smoky dips to fragrant bakes and the joy of sharing food around a table
