Smart Cooking Programme

Posted on 26th April 2018 by Jackie Arreaza

Thursdays, 10 am – 12 pm, starting Thursday 3rd May, Linktown Church, Nicol Street, Kirkcaldy.

Smart Cooking is Greener Kirkcaldy’s basic cooking skills and household budgeting programme. It’s run over 8 weeks at various locations in Kirkcaldy and other local areas. Anyone can come along especially if you are a beginner cook or would like to develop your skills and confidence in food. The classes are small, friendly and fun. You don’t need to bring anything, we’ll supply everything and you’ll get food to take home.

We’ll include sessions on:
• Food, shopping, and meal planning
• Food storage and using leftovers
• Managing household bills and budgets with Citizens Advice and Rights Fife
• Energy saving in the kitchen and home with Cosy Kingdom

Fife Council Community Food Team will be offering their experiences and helping us deliver some of our programmes.

We’ll be running more programmes on a regular basis – contact us to find out if there is one happening near you. If you are part of a group or organisation in Kirkcaldy, we’d be happy to run a course for you.
