Masks for the NHS

Gabbi Anderson, who runs our sewing classes, has been very busy making masks (over 170 so far) and scrub bags for volunteers and nurses. Our ‘Sew & Chat’ group members have also supported her by donating fabric, finding a supply of elastic, and making some themselves.

The masks are triple-layered and if anyone wants the pattern , please email Jackie. If anyone can donate fabric (new fabric for masks and any sheets and duvet covers – but the thicker the better – for scrub bags) or elastic (1/4 inch) then please get in touch with Jackie. Well done to Gabbi and all the people supporting her to get these made!
