Greener Kirkcaldy Film Night – ‘Beyond the Pole’

The bi-monthly film night is back in April with a tongue-in-cheek mockumentary about the first carbon neutral, vegetarian and organic expedition to the North Pole.  Steven Mangan (Green Wing) and Rhys Thomas (Bellamy’s People) star as the inexperienced duo who aim to get into the Guinness Book of Records, and of course save the planet along the way.  Shot on location in Greenland this film has it all from stunning landscapes to belly laughs.

Part buddy movie, part satire, we chose a comedy for this month’s film to lighten the mood, but we hope it will still  provoke some discussion about environmentalism.
