Summer herbal remedies
Join local herbalist Rosy to learn about herbs available in the Summer months to support your health and well being.
In this workshop we will explore Ravenscraig Walled Garden to identify wild herbs growing in the summer, as well as in the allotment to see what herbs you can grow in the summer months. We will bring some back with us to taste and make into herbal remedies and we will also learn about making herbal tinctures.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and you will learn about 5 summer herbs and how to forage, grow or source them and use them as simple herbal remedies.
Please bring a small, clean empty jar for your herbal remedy.
Our tutor for the morning Rosy, is a Fife based herbalist practising for over 5 years. She has extensive plant knowledge, having previously grown organic food and teas. Connecting people with plants through herbal medicine, education and availability of medicinal plants for growing is her passion.
