Monthly Climate Café: Local food growing – online
Be part of tackling climate change – join us at our monthly climate cafes for films, guest speakers and discussions.
In this month’s Climate Café we’ll be exploring how and what we can grow and eat seasonally in Fife – and why local growing is as good for us as it is for the environment.
We’ll be joined by from Angela from PLANT and Jane and Pauline from CLEAR, both partners in our Climate Action Fife project who will be sharing the role and importance of community gardens, and their experience of seasonal food growing. We’ll also discuss growing in small spaces, how to cut your carbon “foodprint”, accessing local food and how to feed yourself in late spring, a period known as “the hungry gap”.
The event will take place on Zoom.
