Masterclass with a Professional Master Chef Winner (fully booked)

Fresh from his recent appearance at our Community Open Day, Jamie Scott, Chef Patron of The Newport Restaurant and BBC Master Chef Professionals winner 2015, will be hosting this workshop. Participants will cook a two course meal perfect for the casual home cook or for inspiration for a special occasion. Whether you are looking to impress or simply show off new dishes with confidence then this is the class for you.

– Roasted Cod, saffron, mussel, potato & broad bean broth

– Chocolate Fondant, crushed raspberries, crème fraiche & white chocolate

Jamie will take you through the fundamentals of cooking each dish and elements required to perfect both dishes. The aim is that you will be able to refer to the recipes time and time again, making these your own classic or signature dishes. You will get one to one tutoring of restaurant worthy dishes, learn chefs secrets, hints and tips and be free to ask questions as the class unfolds.

Jamie is a supporter of Greener Kirkcaldy’s Lang Spoon Community Kitchen and our aim to inspire and encourage as many people as possible back into the kitchen.

This workshop is suitable for casual home cooks who are interested in building a skill set with confidence or cooking for special occasions.
