Our kids cooking club is back for the Easter School holidays.
Spring has sprung and there are lots of wonderful fresh ingredients available right now. We will use some of these to make two tasty dishes together. In this class we are using Spinach and Rhubarb.
You will make:
Spinach filo spiral pie – a fun pastry in the shape of a snake based on a Greek classic. It’s easy to make to make and looks very impressive.
Rhubarb crumble muffins – Rhubarb is one of the first ‘fruits’ to appear in Spring. We will learn more about it and how it grows and use it to make some tasty Rhubarb Crumble muffins.
The kids cooking club encourage children to learn new skills in a fun and friendly environment. Working out measurements and quantities; making healthier choices; and learning about fresh and seasonal ingredients are all skills that will stay for life.
