Community cyclocross at Dunnikier Park

This community cyclocross event is a great introduction to competitive cyclocross. It is a fun entry-level event for those interested in getting out there and learning new skills on their bikes and trying their hand at competition cycling in a low-pressure environment.

The course is approximately 2.5km around a parkland gravel circuit in Dunnikier Park, Kirkcaldy. You must be 16 or over to participate. Helmets are mandatory for all participants. 

Sign-in starts from 12:30pm with the race starting at 2pm. Timing chips will be provided.

Part of the Kirkcaldy Cycling Festival, this event will be running alongside the family fun day also taking place in Dunnikier Park. There is plenty of fun to be had for both competitors and spectators.

Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to enter the Kirkcaldy Cycling Festival prize draw.

The cost to take part is £20. You must book by 31st July.

Accessibility

Public disabled parking is available. Adapted bikes and e-bikes are not suitable for this course, but the family fun day is accessible to all.

Those with disabilities are welcome to enter if they can confidently cycle on a gravel or mountain bike for 45 minutes.
