In this class you will be learning about Indian spices and cook some authentic dishes. We will make garam masala which is a great way to discover new spices and how they work together.
Keema Puffs— These tasty little parcels are great for a snack or a starter. They are very versatile and can be made with meat or vegetables. We will make a batch to enjoy at home
Chana Masala— This popular North Indian chickpea dish demonstrates how a good curry can be made with only a few ingredients.
At the end of the class we will taste some of the food made in the class and a chance for questions and discussion about this wonderful cuisine.
This is a hands-on cooking class. All dishes made can be taken away and enjoyed at home, and are suitable for a plant-based diet.
This workshop will be led by our Community Chef Iain McLellan, a skilled and talented Head Chef with over 20 years cooking experience. Iain is passionate about world cuisines and sharing his love of flavour combinations.
Some cooking skills are required to enjoy this workshop i.e. basic knife skills. Please bring some containers to take home your food. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you are booking.
