The Lang Spoon Training Kitchen
Our fully equipped modern training kitchen has eight workstations and is suitable for groups of up to 16 learners. Each workstation has a hob, oven, worktop prep space and utensils.
The Training Kitchen is an excellent venue for cookery courses, workshops and events. Why not try it for a team away day with a difference!

The Lang Spoon Production Kitchen
Our commercial kitchen is perfect for caterers and small-scale or start-up food producers. It has a powerful gas range with four-ring hob and oven, a fast and hygienic dishwasher, a large fridge and plenty of prep and wash-up space.
It can also be hired alongside our Community Space for catered events. There is a roller-shutter between the two spaces that can be opened to create a servery. We offer a discount for booking the two together.

Our Terms and Conditions
All hirers must read, and agree to abide by, the Terms and Conditions of hire.
If you are interested in hiring the Training Kitchen or the Production Kitchen, we strongly recommend that you come and see them to familiarise yourself with the layout, and to meet with a member of staff to discuss your specific requirements. We ask that at least one of the group has evidence of achieving REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene in the last three years.
Booking and discounts
To make a booking, please complete the Room Hire Booking Form. You can also email us for more information, call us on 01592 858458 or pop in for a chat.
We give a discount for block-bookings: bookings for six or more sessions will receive a 20% discount on the total fee.
Hire of both the Community Space and Production Kitchen: hirers will receive a 50% discount on the hire of the Production Kitchen.
Prices are per hour, half-day (9:30am until 1pm or 1pm until 4:30pm) or day (9:30am until 4:30pm).
