News From Ravenscraig Walled Garden

“Work is continuing at RWG as we are getting ready for planting outside when the weather gets warmer.  We have refurbished some of the planting beds, which will be a home for our seed potatoes initially. The soft fruit bed is having a makeover and will be  a home for blueberries which are currently in pots. This has involved raising the sides of the bed and adding ericaceous compost. In the orchard, the trees are starting to bud. We are currently preparing areas of open space there so that we can sow wild flower bee friendly seed. These will add a splash of colour to the area. Here are some recent photos from the garden including a new visitor!”.
