Lang Toun Fest returns for 2026

Kirkcaldy’s flagship summer festival, Lang Toun Fest, returns in 2026. The month-long programme will run from 5 June to 5 July.
Lang Toun Fest is firmly established as one of Fife’s most ambitious community festivals. The 2026 edition spans five weekends of culture, creativity, and celebration.
The festival is organised by the Lang Toun Partners, a collaborative group of local organisations including Greener Kirkcaldy. It brings together the town’s venues, businesses, artists, and community groups to showcase the very best of local talent and activity.
The 2026 programme is expected to include a diverse mix of events. Expect music, arts, heritage, workshops, family events, talks, food, wellbeing and more. The open-programme model ensures Kirkcaldy’s community shapes the festival from the ground up.
Local organisations, groups, and venues can submit events for inclusion in the official Lang Toun Fest programme. To add an event, visit the festival website at www.langtounfest.com.
Events received before the print deadline will appear in a official printed programme. Later listings will feature within the online programme.
The Lang Toun Partners welcome submissions that reflect the spirit of the festival. Events should be inclusive, community-focused, imaginative, and proudly rooted in Kirkcaldy.
