Grow Your Own Workshop: Plot-to-pot
By now green-fingered gardeners are seeing their efforts rewarded with a profusion of tomatoes, courgettes and beans. But what to do with it all? Cooking guru Louise Oliver will lead August’s workshop providing interesting new recipe ideas for common crops, but also discussing how you can preserve bumper gluts so that you can enjoy home grown food into autumn. We’ll be looking at how to bottle, dry, freeze and pickle a variety of vegetables and fruits.
