Find your place in the community at our Annual Gathering
Time is running out to book a place at our Annual Gathering and AGM, which takes place on Saturday 5th November at 8 East Fergus Place.
This year’s gathering focuses on Kirkcaldy, our place, and our community. There will be a chance to discuss Greener Kirkcaldy’s place in the community and help shape our next 5-year plan.
The Gathering will hear from keynote speaker Emily Wallace from the Corra Foundation, who is currently working on the research and co-design phase of ‘Every One Every Day’ in Kirkcaldy.
This project aims to put the infrastructure in place to support people to participate more in their communities, in ways that make sense to them. Emily will talk to about the importance of participation, what that looks like in the modern world, and why we need approaches that are not afraid to fail.
Attendees will also be able to explore Greener Kirkcaldy’s community building, which opened in 2018, and find out more about our varied programme of activities.
The event starts with breakfast rolls, teas and coffees at 10am on Saturday 5 November. Book your free place by Monday 31 October.
