Sunday Social – Templehall to Dunnikier Park

A leisurely bike ride from Templehall to Dunnikier Park.

Key info:

• Distance – short
• Hills – relatively flat.
• Surfaces – mainly surfaced, with a section of compacted earth/blaes. One very short stretch with loose stones.
• Route – mainly on traffic-free paths, with some on quiet roads.

Join us for a leisurely bike ride. This ride will head up to Dunnikier Park using a mixture of traffic-free paths and quiet roads. You will discover some lesser known routes in the park, before returning to Templehall via Middleden.

This ride will show you some quiet routes to connect Templehall to Dunnikier Park. This ride is ideal for less confident cyclists who are looking to discover some quieter routes. It will also provide you with the opportunity to practice on some quieter roads, as well as showing you one of Kirkcaldy’s newest shared use path.

Additional Information

Please note that this bike ride is weather-dependent.

Participants should be able to cycle for 1 – 1.5 hrs at a leisurely pace. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride.

Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.
