Sunday social led bike ride – Kirkcaldy loop gravel ride
Join us for a leisurely bike ride. This ride forms a loop near the edge of Kirkcaldy, including Pannie Den, Rabbit Braes and Dunnikier Park.
This ride is ideal for people looking to build up their fitness, particularly on hills. It will also provide some opportunity to build up your confidence cycling on quiet roads.
You will need a gravel or mountain bike for this route.
Distance – medium
Hills – includes two hills
Surfaces – mainly smooth, good-quality surfaces. Some short sections are uneven, with loose gravel.
Route – mainly on traffic-free paths, with some quiet roads.
Additional Information
Participants should be able to cycle for 1.5 – 2 hrs at a leisurely pace. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride.
Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.
