
Sunday Social – Glenrothes Gallivant Revisited

Join us for a leisurely bike ride. We will head to Glenrothes and loop around some of the town’s most scenic routes, before heading back to Kirkcaldy.
Our volunteers have revisited this route to take in parts of the Fife Pilgrim’s Way as well as the new pump track at Riverside Park.
This ride is ideal for people looking to build up their fitness with a longer ride. The route also passes by Fife Council’s base at
Route Information
- Distance – long
- Hills – one long hill
- Surfaces – mainly surfaced, with one section on compacted earth
- Route – mainly on traffic-free paths, with some on quiet roads. One short stretch on a busier road
Additional Information
Please note that this bike ride is weather-dependent.
Participants should be able to cycle for 2-2.5hrs at a leisurely pace.
Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks. There are some sections that will be on unpaved surfaces.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.
Our booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events. Any information you choose to share about your background is managed separately to information that you give us to process your booking (for example, your name).
