Steps to Cooking Success – Stock, Soup and Sauce

This workshop will be led by Iain Mclellen, Greener Kirkcaldy’s Community Chef and will be the first in a new programme to help bring success to your home cooking. In the workshop you will learn the basics of making a good stock that will add depth and flavour to a range of dishes (vegetable or meat stock option); use a stock to make a seasonal soup; followed by learning how to use stock in gravies, sauces and jus. You’ll leave inspired and ready to experiment at home.
The menu of options you can choose to make will be available soon.
Please bring some containers to take home your food. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when you are booking.
There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
Booking is required as spaces are limited.
