Popular throughout Spain, tapas are delicious snacks enjoyed in the evening with a drink or at festivals. Tapas comes from the Spanish word “tapar”, which means “to cover” or “lid” referring to how they are served on top of a glass. Join us to prepare, cook and taste Spanish-influenced tapas, perfect for sharing and entertaining.
Charred squid and pepper salad – a classic tapas dish that is made ahead of time and served at room temperature—delicious with roast peppers.
Berenjenas fritas con miel – crispy fried aubergines with honey. Cook your aubergine with a twist in this recipe, mixing savoury and sweet flavours.
Chorizo and Manchego croquettes with mojo verde – Sam will show how to make this traditional dish served with a delicious herby, citrus sauce.
This is a hands-on cooking class. All food made can be taken away and enjoyed at home.
This workshop will be led by Jackie Vural, an enthusiastic cook with experience of many cuisines.
Some cooking skills are required to enjoy this workshop i.e. basic knife skills. Please bring some containers to take home your food.
If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you are booking.
