Parent and Child Cycle Training
Would you like to cycle more with your kids? Maybe you haven’t cycled in a while, aren’t confident cycling with your kids, or would just like to enjoy more time on your bike with your children. Bring your kids along to our free programme of Parent and Child cycle training with local cycling guru, Jim.
In our 4-week programme, we’ll help you increase your skills and confidence cycling with your kids in parks, on the prom, and on quiet roads. We’ll meet weekly, for half an hour in Beveridge Park. We’ll cover cycle familiarisation, basic bike care, maintenance and roadside repairs, fun confidence-building activities and led rides around the park. On the last week of the programme, we’ll take a leisurely 45-minute ride on quiet roads out of the park on to the prom.
Get some exercise, increase your skills, gain confidence, learn new routes, meet other cyclists, and enjoy time on your bike with your children.
This programme runs for 4 weeks, starting Monday 22nd July 2019, 5.30pm – 6pm. Max 2 children per adult. Please ensure your bikes are roadworthy before coming on the course.
