Nature Bike Ride

Come along to this leisurely bike ride, where you will learn about local wildlife in parks, woodland and on the estuary from wildlife expert Tony Wilson. He will also talk a bit about the geology of the area. You will visit coastal and urban spots around Kirkcaldy, including Ravenscraig Park and learn more about the natural life around us in our Lang Toun.

Meet Tony Wilson – Tony is an expert on wildlife in the local area. He worked for Fife Ranger service for 25 years before moving onto teach Countryside Management at SRUC, Elmwood.

The Route

  • Distance – short
  • Hills – mainly flat, one hill
  • Surfaces – mainly smooth, including some good quality paths
  • Route – mixture of traffic-free paths and quiet roads

Additional Information

This bike ride is weather-dependent, please ensure to dress for the conditions.

Participants should be able to cycle for one hour at a leisurely pace.
