Memory Blanket Workshop
A memory blanket is a great way to upcycle old textiles and capture memories! Bring along children’s or adults clothes, and old textiles, and learn how to turn them into a unique keepsake. Our sewing tutor, Clarabella Christie, will teach you basic hand and machine sewing skills so you can go on to create your masterpiece!
Please bring clothes and items (e.g. blankets). We will provide the backing and other materials. We have sewing machines available, but if you have a sewing machine you would like to use, feel free to bring it along. Please note, blankets may not be completed on the day, but Clarabella will teach you all you need to know to finish at home.
Clarabella Christie is an experienced textile designer who runs courses and workshops in Dunfermline. See more on her website.
There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
