Make Your Own Pasta

During this hands-on workshop we’ll learn how to make a basic egg based pasta dough from scratch and then how to turn it into two different pasta shapes and types: tagliatelle and spinach and ricotta ravioli.
We’ll be making and rolling out the dough by hand and preparing the filling for the ravioli. We’ll also discuss how to serve the pasta and the best sauces to suit each type.
The workshop will be fun and relaxed with the opportunity for questions and discussions. You’ll leave with your own pasta to cook at home and the confidence to try out your new found skills.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, but participants need to be able to knead their own dough. Bring two containers to take your pasta home. All equipment will be supplied and recipes are provided.
If you have any particular dietary requirements, let us know at the time of booking (but please note, the ingredients used will contain gluten and dairy.).
There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
