Kids Cooking Club (9-12 years) – Pizza and Cookies (Postponed)

Further to the Government’s recent update on COVID-19, we have taken the decision to postpone all of our events from now until the end of April. Full refunds will be given.

We are reviewing the situation daily and will give regular updates on future events, including new dates for postponed events.

There are many benefits of encouraging kids to get into the kitchen – learning useful skills that will stay with them for life, working out measurements and quantities, making healthier choices, learning about using fresh and natural ingredients. We’re offering all of these in a fun and friendly environment!

This week we’ll be making pizza and cookies. We’ll be cooking everything from scratch using fresh ingredients. Our experienced staff will be on hand to offer support and encouragement throughout.

This workshop is for kids aged 9 – 12, and is suitable for enthusiastic beginners. All of our kids cooking clubs are suitable for vegetarians. Please bring a container (or even a pizza box) to take home their creations.

No experience is necessary however a few basic cooking skills like chopping would be useful.

If you have any particular dietary requirements, please let us know at time of booking. There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.

Booking is required as spaces are limited. Tickets required for each child. Parents need not stay for the workshop.

Concessions*: 20% discount

*Students (full time), Senior Citizens (65+), eligible benefits (Income Support, Working Tax Credit, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income-based Employment and Support Allowance, Housing Benefit and Universal Credit). Proof of eligibility may be requested when booking, or on arrival at event.
