Keep on rolling – wheel hubs bike maintenance

Learn how to check your wheel hub bearings for wear and how to adjust in this bike maintenance class. Part of our autumn programme of bike maintenance classes.

Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience is necessary. The minimum age is 12 years for these classes and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

Water, tea and coffee will be available.

Ideally, you should bring along your own bike or, if you like you can use one of our provided bikes. We will provide the required tools, protective equipment and work stands.

You will have the opportunity to purchase tools.

Please wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty as you will be dealing with grease and grime. Aprons and gloves will also be provided.

This event is free to attend, but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.

This workshop will take place upstairs with no lift access. There are 22 steps in total from the ground floor to the workshop (14 if you enter the building from the rear entrance).
