Drive Time – Get into the right gear

Learn how to maintain and repair your gears.

Learn about the front and rear mechanisms and how to change the cable and adjust them. We will also go into detail on how to best use your gears, which will help keep them in good working condition saving time and money.

Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience is necessary. Minimum age is 12 years for these classes and under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult

Water, tea and coffee will be available

Ideally you should bring along your own bike or, if you like you can use one of our provided bikes. We will provide the required tools, protective equipment and work stands.

Please wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty as you will be dealing with grease and grime. Aprons and gloves will also be provided.

There are public parking bays available outside the shop on the High Street with level access into the building and throughout. There is also an accessible toilet.
