Walking in a group is a great way to start walking, make new friends and stay motivated.
Try it for yourself and come along for a summer evening walk with us around Beveridge Park. We’ll start at our community building, and head to the park to enjoy the green space and lake views before heading back.
The 2-mile walk will take around 45 minutes and be on flat, paved surfaces with some small sections of track/footpath.
Why not join us for our regular Community Meal at our community building before the walk?
This event is part of our Bike, Walk, Move programme.
Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone and email if the walk cannot go ahead.
Participants should be able to walk 2 miles at a leisurely pace. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
The route is mainly on a paved surface, with a short section of track. The route is flat.
Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks if you feel you need them.
The event is free but booking is required.
If you are having trouble booking you can call 01592 858458 or email email@example.com for assistance.
Our building at the start of the walk has disabled parking available. We have a ramp into the building and level access throughout the ground floor. There is also a disabled bathroom.
Please note, it may not be possible to access the building after the walk.
The walking route is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
